Crown Cork & Seal Announces Management Appointments
Crown Cork & Seal Co. Inc., the world's leading packaging product supply company which had 1999 net sales of $7.7, has announced a series of appointments within its finance and accounting organization.
The Philadelphia-based company has promoted Timothy J. Donahue, 37, to senior vice president – Finance. Donahue will continue to report to Alan W. Rutherford, executive vice president and CFO. Donahue, who joined Crown in 1990, will be responsible for accounting, real estate, treasury, finance, M&A, pension investments, investor relations and corporate communications.
Michael B. Burns, 51, has been promoted to vice president and corporate treasurer, reporting to Donahue. Burns, who joined Crown following the acquisition of Continental Can, was most recently vice president - treasury management at Crown.
Thomas A. Kelly, 40, has been promoted to corporate controller and will also report to Donahue.
The changes follow Craig R. L. Calle's decision to join an Internet infrastructure company. Calle, 40, was senior vice president - Finance and Treasurer.
