PowerSource II corona generator has a more compact version of the existing IGBT-based system since it uses a single board computer to replace several discrete components. The controls include a fault status detection and fault indicators for several conditions to aid in troubleshooting, such as over current and temperature protection.
Several capabilities are available, including as PLC interface, line speed following, and automatic frequency tuning. The control panel uses digital controls with membrane switches. Another feature is the true power display. A watt meter will indicate the true power being applied at the electrode rather than the output voltage to the high voltage transformer. Also available is the loss of treat indicator. The generator comes with a three-year warranty.
