The unit offers servo-motor driven friction belt film drawoff. The continuous movement of the belts is estimated to reduce belt wear by at least 50%. The heavy-duty, low-profile machine also features servo-powered, gear-driven rotary end-sealing and constant contact "slip-seal" seam sealing by means of a thermal transfer mechanism with automatic retraction.

Film web handling on the small-footprint machine is by way of a web tension compensator. Machine controls are Key-Pak's PC-based logic controller or an optional Allen-Bradley PanelView control panel with ControlLogix control system utilizing RS Logix 5000 software.
