N/As a highly versatile, continuous-motion side seal wrapper that produces a fully enclosed package. A new application for the wrapper is multipacking various groups of aerosol cans. Groups of two, four or six cans of equal size can be multipacked at speeds up to 45 packs per minute.
The material used to create the packaging is a single roll of shrink film. The wrapper folds the film around the product and seals the open side using a seal head. The side seal creates a neat, straight and extremely durable seam. As the group of cans advances, a single set of vertically closing seal bars seal the front and rear of the package for full enclosure. The package then enters the shrink tunnel and emerges as a tight, fully enclosed multipack.
The wrapper features a laterally adjustable infeed conveyor and trim sealer, and a seal bar that may be positioned both vertically and horizontally to accommodate a wide variety of products.
