Color-Coded Rapid Change Over (RCO) Change Parts Maximize Line Productivity

B&H Labeling Systems Rapid Change Over (RCO) change parts minimize the downtime usually associated with container size and label changeovers. RCO is a changeover procedure that takes one operator fifteen to twenty minutes and involves fewer change parts and fewer mechanical adjustments. Accommodating containers ranging from 220ml to 3L, RCO color-coded change parts help processors to reduce changeover time and produce the highest quality labeled containers on a consistent basis.

RCO change parts are a standard feature on a several new models of B&H roll-fed labelers, allowing processors to maximize line productivity while benefiting from production line flexibility. Designed for unparalleled changeover accuracy and operational simplicity, an operator need only clamp the color-coded components in place and select the container description from memory on the control panel. At the push of a button, the operator automatically sets the vacuum drum, cutting drum, glue application system, and other systems for positive label control. The ability to pre-program machine timing positions via the on-board computer reduces the skill level required to execute changeovers and ensures the labeler operates at optimum performance.

B&H labeling equipment can decorate both full and empty containers made of PET, HDPE, glass, and metal, including 2-piece and 3-piece steel and aluminum cans, aerosol and spiral wound containers.

Located in Ceres, California, B&H Labeling Systems introduced the first viable roll-fed label application system in 1969. The company is known worldwide for innovative, solution-driven engineering, high quality workmanship, and the unequaled reliability of its equipment. B&H maintains global representation to offer service and technical support to its worldwide customer base.
