Marshall and Williams Plastics is an industry pioneer, having built the first tenter frame for film production in 1950. Since then, we have become a world supplier of "turnkey" production systems for BOPP, BOPS, BOPVC, BOPET and specialty products such as netting and elastomeric films. We have many systems for the orientation of plastics that have been in operation for over 30 years.

The process is usually sequential with a typical line consisting of an extrusion system followed by a casting section, machine direction orienter, transverse direction orienter, web handling equipment, gauging system, surface treatment system and winder. Marshall and Williams Plastics engineers the total system in-house and purchases certain components within the system from select, reliable vendors with a proven performance record.

As a supplier of "turnkey" systems, we supply everything from the resin feeding system to the finished material handling systems with the capabilities of full automation. Marshall and Williams Plastics has the aptitude to maintain its position as an industry leader with a complete orientation lab facility located in Rhode Island. This facility allows customers to experiment with and develop new resin formulations and also provide Marshall and Williams's engineers and technicians with the opportunity to keep up with the latest technologies and applications.
