The ALPS Model 7385 rotary container inspection systems are production-proven and designed to easily install onto any style conveyor systems. Models ranging from four to thirty test stations are available depending on the throughput required.

Containers are transported off of the conveyor and on to the main turntable where all of the desired inspections take place. Defective containers are detected and automatically rejected from the conveyor line upon their exit from the machine.

Key Model 7385 Features

  • The ALPS Smart Test Module(STM)
    The Model 7385 utilizes the ALPS Smart Test Module(STM), proven to be the industry's most reliable electronic test stations with built-in data collection capabilitities and self diagnostic functions. In addition to finding pinholes in the container body, the leak test will also find numerous defect types that lead to a non-level seal surface.
  • Machine Control
    The main control box houses a PLC and frequency drive that control the machine speed and motion. Options are available to automatically stop/start the machine, and to automatically adjust the machine speed based on the container backlog.
  • Container Handling
    Consists of change parts tooling designed for specific containers (see Tooling Description). ALPS has recently developed a number of quick-change features including quick-connect handles and alignment markings. Consult factory for details.
  • Safety Features
    Safety is a prime concern so we have specifically designed the starwheels and timing screw to include adjustable clutches that work in conjunction with the PLC, controlling machine motion and an integrated safety brake system. When the pre-set torque limit is reached, the moving parts will clutch out and all machine motion will stop until the tooling is re-set and the machine re-started.

    Hinged windows, with built-in safety switches, surround the moving turntable from all sides.
