A typical legend can be produced in one to three minutes which, given the 612 Platemaker's ability to queue legends and produce a completed plate without the operator's involvement, means one platemaker can service a number of pad printers. The 612 Platemaker uses a laser. It is ruggedly constructed of proven, low voltage, sealed, C02 highly reliable components and incorporates an elaborate diagnostic package. It complies with the certification requirement of the CDRH for equipment containing lasers.
