Consistently clear imprints are now possible in continuous-motion applications with norwood's new CodeRunner, hot stamp imprinter. The CodeRunner is designed for easy mounting on continuous-motion horizontal and vertical form, fill and seal lines, overwrappers and labelers to produce high quality, non-smearing imprints of sell-by dates, production codes, and other variable information.

The CodeRunner imprints a 1-7/8" x 1-7/8" area with up to 250 cycles per minute at surface speeds to 1500" per minute. The unit's capabilities accommodate a wide variety of packaging applications, including those in the bakery, cookies, crackers, candy, snack food and other industries. Productivity is maintained with a quick-changing ribbon cassette and in-line adjustments for imprint registration and package cut-off lengths. The imprinter maintains tight registration capabilities at high and low speeds.

The CodeRunner system includes a controller with easy-to-read monitoring and quick key pad adjustments of all imprinter functions. The unit accepts all common print signals to activate the print cycle, and current diagnostics are indicated by digital readout on the lcd display.
