PERMEATION ANALYSIS INSTRUMENTATION
For over 35 years, MOCON has been the leader in permeation technology and offers the latest innovation in this field while setting new standards for accuracy, throughput and ease-of-use. We have a variety of models to meet your testing needs and budget. You have the flexibility in the type of test gas, the number of test cells, sensitivity, relative humidity, and testing temperatures. These instruments have the ability to test flat films as well as complete packages. Many options are available including a Package Environmental Chamber (PEC) for testing packages under precise environmental conditions. These systems are sold and serviced in over 60 countries! We have proven accuracy with NIST traceable systems and system verification films.

HEADSPACE ANALYZERS
These instruments are imperative for accurate testing of finished packages, typically used in MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging). Our PAC CHECK® Systems are used in production, quality control and R&D applications. Bench-top and portable hand-held analyzers are available.

ONLINE GAS ANALYZERS
Similar in technology to our headspace analyzers, we offer on-line gas monitoring systems for controlling for packaging machines. Our GSA series of on-line gas stream analyzers are available for continuous and intermittent monitoring of MAP and other gas flushing operations. Six models are available for the analysis of O2, CO2, and combination O2/CO2.Custom” engineered solutions are also available.

SEAL STRENGTH AND LEAK DETECTION INSTUMENTS
Our PAC GUARD™ systems are designed for non-destructive leak detection for packages. The SKYE™ 2000 and the 2500 SL are combination leak detectors and burst strength package test systems that give an accurate and totally reproducible measurement of package integrity. We also offer a seal strength/peel tester called the SST-3XS. Our VC 1380 is a combination vacuum and blue methylene die tester that shows where leaks are located for use on blister card packaging.

CONSULTING AND TESTING SERVICES
MOCON provides standard ASTM analyses of gas and moisture permeation for flat films and finished package applications. Our lab is capable of testing materials at precise “real-world” conditions and provides accurate and reproducible results. These results aid in the prediction of products shelf-life, quality control, research and development and help to bring products to market faster.
