Use of the bagger can reduce raw material costs by up to 60% over conventional pre-made bag systems, which typically insert the product into a pre- formed bag.

Additionally, since there is no need for the operator to open the bag or insert the product into a limited area, productivity is improved. The operator merely places the product into the film, the machine then advances the film into the sealing area, the bag is sealed and cut and the completed product is ejected. Bag sizes can be as large as 12x10-in. on a standard model; other models are available to meet most any production requirement.

Featuring PLC-based controls and self-diagnostics, the system handles centerfolded LDPE or polyolefin shrink films and operates at speeds to 40 packages per minute. With a 24x30-in. footprint, machine has a standard jaw opening of 4-in. and employs a sidewinder film-feed arrangement and an electronic film-feed drive.

Options include print registration, bag deflator, hole punch, header seal and bag perforators.
