Sustainable Packaging Trends In U.S. And European Markets

Industry Intelligence Inc., a market intelligence and information management company serving the forest products, packaging, and food and beverage industries, has announced it will offer a webinar on June 12 with Jean-Baptiste Molet and Michael Richardson of SGS, who will discuss new trends for environmentally preferable packaging as observed in the U.S. and European markets.

In this one-hour webinar, Molet and Richardson will share information about the upcoming Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) regulatory approaches in the European Union (EU). They will provide qualitative approaches to assess product environmental aspects and environmental claims. Also discussed will be the effects of environmental regulations in the EU and the impact that the new Federal Trade Commission guidance in the U.S. will have on packaging or communications about packaging.
