Rotary Trimming and Curling Machine

Rated at up to 2000 containers per hour, the TC2000 Rotary Trimming and Curling Machine allows blow molders to efficiently produce wide mouth PET containers by utilizing standard narrow neck, instead of wide mouth preforms. The production of wide mouth containers in this non-conventional manner, with existing multiple cavity injection molds and blow molding equipment, allows blow molders to realize higher production efficiencies and reduce cost.

Once produced, the PET container is conveyed from the blow molder by way of conventional bottle conveyor, to the infeed conveyor of the TC2000. The container is then pre-trimmed, removing the bulk of the unwanted material.

For precise trimming of the container, the patented trimmer technology has been incorporated into the unit to ensure burr-free, sliver-free and step-free trimming for PET containers with diameters ranging from 50mm to 110mm, and heights between 80mm and 240mm.
