Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) - New to Packline Materials Handling and Ultrasource LLC, the new roll handling clamp attachment with linear side shift facility was designed in response to a customer requirement to easily access rolls across the width of the pallet. This roll handling attachment is suitable for clean room high care environments such as the food, drinks, pharmaceutical and packaging industries.

The linear side-shift facility enables the operator to access the rolls across the width of the pallet.

The roll clamp attachment is mounted to a second carriage with the linear side-shift, rather than fixed and central to the lifter as in a standard clamp attachment.

The roll clamp attachment grips the rolls firmly by the circumference and can rotate to any position through 360 degrees.

The attachment has a gearbox with manual handwheel for the gripping of the rolls and a further handwheel provides the rotation of the rolls. This mechanism has a torque limiter fitted so that the clamping arms do not over or under tighten. A third handwheel enables the linear side shift facility along the second carriage.

These features ensure a quick, easy, and simple transfer with minimal operator effort which means that the rolls can be handled surely and safely with minimum effort and complete confidence.

The attachment has been designed to provide a high load capacity with great strength and durability as well as enhanced wear resistance. It is very easy to use which provides a simple and safe action.
