Packaging and Material Handling Controls

Steeplechase Software, Inc.egrated functions available by combining Steeplechase Software's VLC v6.4 of the motion driver and the MEI card, are not available on any other PC-based controller today. Among the functions unique to this combination are Rotary Rollover for continuous rotating motion, an enhanced Position Triggered Move for start-up motion of a second axis that is based upon the position of the first axis, I/O During Blended Motion that allows the user to set outputs that are triggered at the point of blending one interpolated move into the next, and I/O Triggered Move function that is useful for start-up motion of an axis triggered by an input or output valve.

With the increased functionality of the motion driver, customers in the packaging, web handling, and material handling industries will see a significant improvement in the design, installation and running of their motion applications.

All of these new motion functions have been designed to integrate with the company's Visual Logic Controller Version 4.0 and higher.
