New Jaguar II offers speed, flexibility and control

Norwood marking systems' new Jaguar II 52c, a continuous-motion thermal transfer programmable printer, is ideal for printing variable information such as real time/date, bar codes, prices, production or lot codes, graphics and more, in-line, directly onto packaging materials. The 300 dpi high-resolution printer provides consistently clear prints every time. The new state-of-the-art drive components set the industry standard for continuous production and minimal maintenance. The compact model 52c is easily mounted on a wide variety of continuous-motion vertical and horizontal form, fill, seal machinery, and overwrappers. A high print rate within a 2" x 3" print area and web speeds over 700 mm per second maximize production uptime. A robust ribbon cassette accomodates a 1970 foot roll and allows quick off-line changeover.

The touch pad handset with easy-to-see back lit display provides flexibility by allowing message changes in seconds. The optional software and memory interface card provide complete production control. Several levels of password protection and a tamper-proof automatic code change option eliminate operator errors.

The new Jaguar II line of digital printers includes both standard and large area intermittent-motion printers as well as a new multi-head unit that is the first of its kind in the industry.
