The Modu-C Mid Speed machine offers a combination of high output and extreme flexibility. With a maximum speed of 100,000 capsules per hour, it is a production-scale machine, but with many unique features. Like the smaller Modu-C Low Speed machine, the Mid Speed model is designed to enable easy installation of various filling systems for tablets, micro-tablets, pellets, powders and liquids – as single components, or in any combination.

The Modu-C Mid Speed also offers the same forward-thinking design concept with respect to powder dosing technology. Four different powder dosing systems are available — (1)tamping, (2)dosator with compaction, (3)dosator with vacuum and (4)vacuum drum. These dosing systems are mounted on plug-and-play trolleys for fast and easy exchange, enabling the user to select and quickly install the most appropriate dosing system for any powder, regardless of the properties or fill volume.

All powders differ in terms of flow characteristics, compaction, etc. Due to these differing properties, each powder requires the appropriate dosing system to achieve accurate, efficient filling with minimal powder loss. The flexibility of the Modu-C enables the user to handle any powder in any fill volume, including micro-dosing. With the appropriate dosing system, fill volumes of 1 mg or less can be accurately dosed.

The machine can be purchased with one or more dosing trolleys, and additional trolleys added later should the need arise. This concept eliminates the worry of purchasing a machine that may not meet future requirements as new products come through the pipeline.

Various options for weight control are also available, from in-line 100% weight check, to IPC systems. With this broad range of capabilities, the Modu-C Mid Speed clearly stands out from all other capsule fillers.
