StatSoft, Inc.ise-Wide Statistical Process Control (SPC) System (SEWSS), an integrated multi-user software package, provides a central database and all tools necessary to process and manage data from multiple channels and coordinate the work of multiple operators, QC engineers and supervisors. It also provides thin-client access to reports, charts, and graphs data via the Web. Now more completely web-enabled with WebSEWSS, the system offers companies more efficient knowledge sharing and decision-support tools. Users can already automatically post customizable company charts and reports on the Web with the click of the mouse, without knowledge of programming languages like HTML or Java.

Report templates make it simple to customize the layout, formatting and information included in reports posted. All data can be posted and updated at specified intervals - so users always have access to the latest and most accurate data. The system also allows colleagues and customers at remote sites to access SPC data via the Web.

Users simply log on to a specified Internet site, submit their user name and password, and select information they need from a Windows-like user-interface, in near real-time. Any computer that can run a Web browser (a Macintosh, a SUN workstation) can take full advantage of the professional-looking reports, graphs and charts. A convenient and easy-to-use knowledge sharing tool, the system also offers security. Users must login through their browser, and who they are determines what they can see and do at the site.
