This Compumotor driver for the company's latest Interact version 6.0 HMI software enhances motion control and simplifies machine design and electro-mechanical system integration. Interact HMI further expands on the controller's ease of use, programming and setup. The HMI allows 6K motion program files to be stored on the system's Compact Flash and can be downloaded at the push of a button. It provides "terminal mode" operation for entering commands and monitoring responses, with the ability to access axis and system information. The interface also simplifies and speeds setup by allowing jogging, pause-continue and stop-continue operations from a push button. The Interact driver incorporates more than 80 commands to address operator needs.
A Graphics Monitoring Module lets users create graphics displays to make the operator interface as intuitive as possible to reduce training and support requirements. A panel ToolKit Module provides a library of over 35 preconfigued 3D panels that can be used to construct the touchscreen equivalent of traditional control panels.
Common channel Ethernet communication enables high speed response times in critical machine operations, while providing economical, open connectivity. The motion control package meets basic to complex, single-to multi-axis application requirements. It provides control over servo and stepper motors in machines for pick-and-place, packaging, following, cam profiling and hundreds of other uses.
