The Sencorp model 12-SC / 1 controlled impulse bar sealer offers fully adjustable heating and cooling timers, adjustable seal bar pressure and adjustable voltage for the sealing bands. The level of heat is determined by varying the voltage and the heating time. The cooling timer controls cooling, and the upper and lower jaws are piped for water cooling. The sealing bands can be activated to provide (a) top heat only, (b) bottom heat only, or (c) top and bottom heat. The heating timer activates when a predetermined pressure has been reached. The cooling timer starts when the heating timer reaches zero. When the cooling timer reaches zero, the jaws open.
The standard seal width is 1 / 8" (3mm). Optional 24" (610 mm) machines are available. Special combination impulse and continuous heat units are available.
