ACHEM is the trademark of Asia Chemical Corporation (ACC). This newly-designed corporate identity, symbolizing technology, quality, and customer service, will epitomize ACC and its subsidiaries' worldwide development into the new millenium.

Asia Chemical Corporation (ACC) started producing pressure-sensitive tapes in 1960. It is now a world-class producer of PVC and OPP tapes. With its success in the tape business, the company diversified into the electronic material field with multi-layer copper-clad laminates (CCL) in the late 1970s. These two product categories achieved worldwide sales of US$200 million in 1998. In an effort to further expand its electronic materials business, ACC went into a joint venture with Daiwa Technologies of Japan for the development of build-up processes for PCB production (HDI). The new company, ACHEM/DAIWA, owns the worldwide rights for marketing and using the Daiwa HDI processes outside of Japan.

ACC, with its capital of nearly US$100 million and its 2000 worldwide employees, continues to be dedicated in bringing the highest level of technology and quality at cost effective prices to its customers in almost every country of the world.
