Closures & Ends
The majority of the metal parts used with our containers are produced at our Montreal plant. Over 50 different sizes are available. If our standard metal parts do not suit your needs, we can design custom tooling to meet your requirements. The closures are also available in some specialty sizes and types such as, safety rings, embossing, coin bank tops, coated, coloured & printed metals etc.
PLASTIC PLUGS
Injection molded plastic plugs using either HDPE or LDPE are available in standard and also custom colors. Available for the following inner diameters: 1 9/16", 1 5/8", 1 7/8", 2", 2 1/4", 2 1/2", 2 3/4", 3", 3 1/2", 3 15/16", 5", 6".
PLASTIC DISPENSER TOPS
Glued in: These tops are glued onto the container and the end is then shipped loose to be seamed on after filling. Available in the following inner diameters: 1 5/8", 1 7/8", 2 1/16", 2 1/4", 2 1/2" and 3". They can also be placed into a pre-punched hole inside of a metal end, larger than the dispenser top. These tops are also available with various rotors (3/16" holes, 1/2" hole, 3 screen, kidney shape opening etc…).
Friction fit: These tops are shipped loose to be inserted by the customer without any equipment being required. We would normally seam on a metal end onto the canister and the dispenser top is applied without glue. Available in the following inner diameters: 1 7/8", 2 1/2" and 3". These tops are also available with various rotors (3/16" holes, 3 screen, kidney shape opening etc…).
EASY OPEN ALL ALUMINUM TOPS (EZO)
Available in 2" (210.5) inner diameter for grease cartridges and are also available in the following inner diameters: 2 9/16" (211), 2 7/8"(300), 3 5/16"(307),
3 15/16"(401). A plastic overcap would normally be required along with this top. This closure is also available in some specialty sizes and types, such as a spoon leveler and a doublesafe feature.
FOIL DIAPHRAGM PEAL OFF TOPS
Available in 2 9/16" (211), 2 7/8" (300), 3 5/16" (307), 3 15/16" (401), 5" (502) and 6" (603). A plastic overcap would normally be required along with this top. This closure is also available in some specialty sizes and types, such as the new ring pull tab and a spoon leveling feature.
PLASTIC OVERCAPS
To be used with either the Easy open top, the foil diaphragm top or a ring & plug. They are available in 2 1/16" (202), 2 9/16" (211), 2 7/8" (300), 3" (301), 3 5/16" (307), 3 15/16" (401), 5" (502) and 6" (603), in a wide range of colours from natural to black.
