Buhrs 2000: Film and Paper Wrapping Systems

The Buhrs 2000 is the mailing system for magazines, catalogues, direct mail products and newspapers. The system both poly- and paper wraps at a maximum speed of 18,000 products per hour. The system is therefore ideal for high-speed poly- and paper wrapping applications in mailing houses, binders or newspaper mailrooms. With the help of three leading technical universities in the Netherlands, Buhrs-Zaandam was able to combine the best mechanical design, electronics and software into a system principle called "MechaTRonics".
