Heritage Packaging Earns Eastman Chemical's Excellence Award
Victor, NY - Heritage Packaging in Victor, NY, is the proud recipient of the 2009 Eastman Supplier Excellence Award, bestowed by the esteemed Eastman Chemical Company.
This award recognizes the most valued of the Eastman Chemical Company's suppliers, who have consistently delivered the highest quality of materials, in a quick and efficient manner, while also maintaining their competitiveness in a global market.
"Receiving the 2009 Eastman Supplier Excellence Award actually came as a surprise," said Bill Smith, President and founder of Heritage Packaging. "We strive to always provide a quality assured product, with on-time delivery, at a competitive price; we just don't necessarily expect to win an award for doing so. Eastman's decision to honor us as an award recipient is truly appreciated by our entire staff. I am certain that their validation of the value that we provide will energize our company to continue to strive for excellence."
Heritage Packaging is responsible for the production of Eastman Chemical Company's vacuum bale kits, but also provides other non-tangible contributions, such as the ability to swiftly meet urgent requests, and research and development of possibly more efficient solutions.
"The Eastman Supplier Excellence Award is only awarded to a very small percentage of our suppliers," said Debbie Waltermire, the Director of Global Indirect Procurement at Eastman Chemical Company. "It was earned by Heritage Packaging's diligence to provide quality product in a timely fashion, that enables Eastman to successfully serve our customer needs."
